The Tele-Rehab system provides a home-based digital therapy program for patients with stroke.
The device and software comprise of a patient workstation and a clinician portal. The patient workstation includes a computer system, a proprietary interface console and a suit of medically recognized gaming exercises for rehabilitation, audio-visual feedback and movements representations for patients. The gaming exercises are structured to provide motivation to the patient to perform their prescribed rehabilitation exercise at home.
Medical professionals can monitor patient performance, assign or modify rehabilitation exercises for their patients through the clinician portal. In addition, Medical professionals can visually and audibly interact with the patient by using the patient workstation as an interface while the patient performs the rehabilitation exercise; allowing medical professionals to provide online synchronous personal assistance to the patient in his or her home.
